I'm considering filing a class-action suit for partial refunds because we were deprived of a Pardo-Aukerman "Little Drummer Boy" duet. How am I supposed to get in the Christmas spirit now?
I'm in the middle of editing photos still... but I'd just like to put a face to the conversation.
This guy won the Todd Barry auction.

Jeez Loueeze, that guy looks like what Daniel Clowes would draw if he was assigned to provide the picture next to the dictionary definition of 'Doughy Pantload'...

and they're up!
before the show, Doug records his podcast, I Love Movies, giving those who come to that some first priority seating. David Koechner and Sean Cullen mesh well together, breaking out in song throughout the show.
to clarify, the person Lennon is sitting on won Dangle's shorts at last year's auction. That person is not me.
bobby bottleservice's drink of choice (besides ciroc) is ed hardy wine.
jimmy pardo gets chummy with sarah palin in a photo op, after lambasting her all day. (this photo should be life size cut out and available on the santa monica pier for photo opportunities.)
Scott introduces the video from last year's cdr auction "spend a day doing chores with eddie pepitone".
"hey tig? it's sarah.. taylor dane is here. you have to say that thing to her."
tig talks about how easy it is to run into taylor dane, after being blown off by her at a party.
a surprise live Between Two Ferns with Ben Stiller and our cdr auction winner.
pft goes on a staring contest with an audience member, intent on making him break with the use of some classic material.

I had to register just to gush. I interned the show, and I almost felt like I was committing a horrific sin by being allowed to see something this great for free.
The pictures are awesome, by the way. Can't wait to see the happy portraits.

That night was so cool even that kid's snarky "ooh I'm a PA on probably Always Sunny so when Danny asks me to get him coffee I instead offer his guest house to awesome comedians I don't appreciate" attitude couldn't ruin my night.
will this be an episode on the podcast?
It's a shame about that guy spoiling the Todd Barry call. There are so many of us who would have given an appendage to be in LA, to buy a ticket or bid/win one. Yet, there he was at UCB apparently pissing over the experience. So sad.
I'm spending Christmas Eve w/Todd and a bunch of other funny people at 92nd Street Y Tribeca - and I'm gonna show him the love.

Here's why it was necessary. Someone did think you were Liezl.
Oh my god! That was the guy everyone is hating on???
That kid went to my high school!
He is the son of Jon Landau (producer of Titanic and Avatar), and was friends with Danny Devito's kid. So that explains his hookups.
Last I had heard he had dropped out of college and was pursuing his music career.
Awesome.
wildman vocalist Jamie Landau (pictured) is a monster performer, with a Maynard-meets-Patton flexibility and a caged gorilla inside, just waiting to be unleashed.

Did anybody actually listen to the songs on that band's Myspace page? I clicked the link expecting the music to be hilariously bad, but it's actually pretty decent. It's probably benefiting from extremely low expectations and a bit of Christmas goodwill, but still...
