The AV Club is writing up "Mr. Show" as part of their TV Club Classic thing. Two a week until they're done. The first one is interesting, if maybe overlong. Here: http://www.avclub.com/tvclub/tvshow/...and-david,109/
I'm happy they pointed out Bob's little dance during the Change For A Dollar sketch that cracks up David. Its always been one of my favorite Mr. Show moments. I mean, how could you not laugh at that?
The second part of this is up:

Guess David is having fun in the UK:

Feels like a remake of the Superstar Machine sketch. Since it's his to remake, I'll allow it.
What's up, Mrs. Ditches?

Oh! Emotion lotion!
The "Mr. Show" press conference best-of special, which is not on any of the DVDs, is now on Youtube. Unfortunately, it's from an airing on Comedy Central, so I think it's edited for language, but still, it's better than nothing.
Oh, that? I've got that on VHS.

I've been watching Mr. Show for the first time since it aired and it's nice to see that it is as good as my memories of it were. I'm surprised I ever found that show funny considering I was thirteen when it began airing and couldn't possibly have understood many of the jokes. I was, and sometimes am, very stupid.
I don't think it's been mentioned, probably isn't worth mentioning, but I noticed Andy Kindler sitting in the audience during an episode. I can't remember which episode, maybe the Bob as an Iguana bit, but it was odd to see Andy on TV blankly staring forward and doing nothing else.
I hope this qualifies as stuff...
In keeping with DiggityDawg's bargain-hunting, you can now buy the complete Mr. Show collection on Amazon for the low, low price of $20.99.
Yeah I guess it was. Thank the lord I had older brothers to introduce me to things, like this show, that I probably wouldn't have found on my own at that age.
I did a show w/ Janeane Garofalo at Largo on Saturday. David showed up at the very end, came on stage and Janeane's dog attacked and basically raped him.
