Comedy Death Ray & Doug Loves Movies in China.

Hello there-

I recently moved to Shanghai and I am completely unable to download any podcasts such as CDR or Doug Loves Movies.

I do have one of those snazzy VPN's that allows you to access Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, etc...

I have tried to subscribe via iTunes and RSS, but neither works. If anyone has some advice (besides move somewhere else) I'd appreciate it.

Thats weird, you cant use iTunes with Chinese internet? but cant you just directly download the mp3 from http://feeds.feedburner.com/DougLovesMovies right click and save as where it says play now.

I can use iTunes, but it won't let me download some podcasts. I could download the AST podcast. But not RadioLab, Doug's, CDR and Adam Carolla's.

I think Mao is trying to tell me something.

The other thing is, when I go to that link you posted for the mp3, it won't load either.

I think I'll have to try and bribe someone to upload the mp3s to rapidshare or something else.

Radio Lab is great but if you can't DL it from itunes or it's own page then I don't know what to tell ya.

Have you tried Hotspot Shield? It helps me download stuff that's blocked in my country.

Rapidshare works in China?
If you sign up for a RS Collector's Account, there is a Remote Uploads feature. Just enter the mp3's URL and you'll quickly get a fresh RS link.

Certain other hosters can do the same thing.
