Listening to the Vancouver episode I now want Pat Francis's Paul Stanley and Paul F. Tompkin's Ice-T to have a meeting of the minds.

"You gotta love shoe throw!" - Jimmy Pardo
Squeek for member of the year!
Jimmy's episode is NOW available for download from the regular services... if you've already listened to squeak's version, won't you download again (just to keep our numbers up)?
And interesting tidbit from the Vancouver bonus ep: Paul F. kept dark sunglasses on the entire time so he could "get through it."
Interesting episode tomorrow, but I'll be back later to talk about it!
Kirk Rocker had me in tears. Great episode, not even halfway done yet.
Turns out Kirk Rocker is played by Mike Toomey.

I love the Assmond related videos. Youtube...buncha asses.
Fantastic show coming up today with guest host Paul F. Tompkins, and special guests "Weird Al" Yankovic & Tig Notaro. Noon pst http://indie1031.com
I'm doing a part on the SSP this week, so I got word I could not attend. So PFT is sliding over from the guest chair to host!
And FYI - We are reupping the Pardo episode from last week later today. Won't you REdownload, giving our numbers the proper boost we need? Thank ye!
I hope y'all are listening to this! PFT is being so insanely brilliant this hour. So happy I am able to be at my desk to listen live.
Okay, seriously . . . what is the problem with the fileserver that CDR is hosting these podcasts on? I have subscriptions to a few dozen podcasts, and CDR is the only one of them that slows down, hangs up, and even ends up full of glitches and data errors on a regular basis. It makes no sense that I can download a 150 mb video podcast significantly faster than a 25 or 40 mb audio podcast. Nearly every week I have to repeatedly pause and re-start my CDR download in order to get the download speed back up. If I don't this, it slows down to the point where it'll sometimes take 15-20 minutes to download over a broadband connection. On at least three occasions I've downloaded CDR podcasts that were so packed with glitches and audio errors that they were essentially unlistenable.
I know we're getting this great source of entertainment for free, and I'm trying not to complain about the flavor of the free ice cream or anything, but it might be nice, Scott, if you could do a quick update on why you think you've been having all these minor technical problems, and how you might be able to move past them.
Crap, Scott, I guess your manager of podcasts found ASpecialThing. You'd better tell him of your plans to correct this before he puts you on efficacy watch and puts a note in your file. Please, before there's an all-hands discussion crowdsourced 2.0 freemium blah blah black pens.
For what it's worth, I've got a regular crappy DSL connection and have neither had 'slow' downloads or audio glitches (apart from one episode maybe two months ago, where I believe they said there were glitches in the subsequent episode). All the same, my toaster doesn't toast as dark on '4' as it used to, and Scott when you're done with the server, can you bring the tool belt to the kitchen?

Guys, could you remind me as to which episode had the 'Mexican DJ'? I want to send it to a friend.
Paul Stanley's stuff last wee was fantastic.
