Thread: Scott Aukerman will start Comedy Bang Bang on the Web

    Re: Comedy Death-Ray related stuff

I have a rotten egg of a job and listening to the CDR Radio podcast is the absolute highlight of my day. Do you know how embarrassing it is to be laughing ridiculously hard and then to have to explain yourself to nosey ass co-workers?

While Huell Howser is a delightful, I think that Bobby Bottleservice is some other level shit. I love it so, so, so, much.

    Thanks Scott Aulderman!

My 2¢: don't announce the lineup before putting tickets on sale. Fans here (and hardcore fans in general) will buy them knowing it will be a great show no matter who is on the lineup, and this decreases the chances of said fans missing out on tix because some star-gazer heard Sarah Silverman was going to be there. Give the fans a day to buy tickets blind, which they will, then reveal the lineup, and if there are seats left, our celeb-crazed friends can jump in.

This is so true. I've been reminding myself constantly for the past month that I need to keep sometime next week free to get tickets. I usually have class (or in this year's case, finals) when tickets are released, and last year I had to come 3 hours early for waitlist to make sure I got in. Not that I won't do that again, but it'd be nice for CDR Super Fans to get a heads up for ticket sales before the general public goes all crazy for a funny fundraiser or for the chance to see Aziz live.

But in response to your question about the time: Yes, Wednesday or Thursday around 11 or noon works for me, just keep me posted on the exact time so I can keep my schedule clear. Thanks for checking Scott!!!

I agree with everyone about not releasing the lineup immediately. Also, I want to cancel out chapina's vote for Thursday because I have finals Thursday and Friday. (I can always get someone else to buy our tickets, but I always feel better when I do it myself.)

New plan: Tickets on sale THIS SUNDAY at NOON. Lineup announced Monday morning.
    Tuesday Dec. 15 - 8pm-??
Tickets: $25 plus Paypal fees I would assume

    Ees good?

Dana Gould does a Huell Howser impression, based on one of Adam Carolla's rants.

Is there a chance for duelling Huell Howsers? Invite the third "real" one and see if the universe implodes.

So the best line-up imaginable would be Howser, Ice T, Bottleservice, Cyber Thug and Lil Gary, amirite people? I feel like I must be missing someone but I'm blanking on who it could be.

    Re: Comedy Death-Ray related stuff

Would it be too unreasonable to request a maximum limit on tickets per transaction?

I'd ask PFT to pull a double shift and bring John C. Reilly as well.

    Re: Comedy Death-Ray related stuff

How about John C. Reilly playing PFT?

Oh God I am such a dunderhead I really should have put Pardo on there.

Who did Tartikoff? Clearly I need to download and listen to whatever show I apparently missed with that on it.
