Hey, that worked! Thanks for that. That Paul Rudd opening sounds really funny, too bad that didn't happen. I love that him and his family all get up and put on winter clothes(?) before they storm out.
It also explains the weird moment in Andy's opening song when he said "If you just found out you're pregnant, throw your hands in the air!" and the camera cut to....nothing. That's been bothering me every time I've watched that part of the show, I knew there had to be a joke there that was missed.
I think subtle comedy doesn't work very well in that venue. Andy's first line in the song was "If you're boning Zac Efron, throw your hands in the air", which I don't think anyone in the audience heard, including Zac, who started waving his hands in the air. If anything, Vanessa should have been the one doing the hand-waving.
