The high-pitched Glenn Beck "Get off my phone!" clip sounds a lot like Barry Levinson's role in High Anxiety. "Here's your newspaper!"
I wonder why the sex industry is so interested in sponsoring comedy podcasts?
they are the first to get into any new technology

i can listen to glenn beck's whiny voice all day
also: i downloaded jimmy dore's kpfk show and it was great, the two podcasts complement each other
Beck is a maniac dry drunk and I hope he keeps providing great audio clips
If the meltdowns increase and somehow his show gets canceled, he can always try Celebrity Rehab.
Todd just killed it at the Hawthorne Theater in Portland. (So did Andy). Amazing show.
Hey everyone, "Episode 58 with David Feldman" is live on the site and in the iTunes feed. I bet you thought you weren't getting an episode this week.
"David Feldman fills in while Todd is out of town. Tuesday's with Moron makes a comeback and Ted Kennedy is remembered."

yay
can't wait for next week's episode when jimmy responds to glenn becks' oligarhy diatribe
When Beck was first saying "There's a letter missing" I thought he had purposely left out the C to say "C is for Communism" (like the cookie monster or somesuch). Even if he noticed his mistake on-set or anyone in the control booth put it to his earpiece he could have recovered.

Hey,
So I just started listening to this podcast last week and it's pretty good. I really want the episode with Norm Macdonald (episode 7) but for some reason I can't download it off of iTunes or off their website. Does anyone, by any chance, have this podcast and mind uploading it somewhere?
Much thanks...

Done and done. You can thank Doug.
Thanks for trying, but still having the same issue. It won't load for whatever reason.
I'm not an expert, but this looks like a pretty official report from a government agency, doesn't it?
http://www.nist.gov/public_affairs/f...qa_082108.html
I'm with David Feldman on this one. It doesn't make any sense that it was a massive government conspiracy where an implosion team somehow snuck into a building during 9/11 or somehow had it wired to blow all along just in case this ever happened, and that the same dopes that couldn't even plant WMDs in Iraq after the fact somehow pulled it off.
Plus, when Jimmy finally backs down a little, he switched his argument to 'At the very least, they let it happen', which totally negates the possibility of any of the above stuff happening at all.
It's like saying that Lyndon Johnson is culpable in JFK's assassination because he either trained an army of 500 ninjas over the course of 10 years to kill him or he was asleep at his desk.
What I really want to know is, where is Building 7's long form birth certificate?

Yup, one of the many problems with conspiracy theories - especially the Truther ones - is that they're inherently contradictory.
Jimmy parroted so many of the Truth fallacies, like the steel not being able to melt at that temperature, or that we've never seen a building collapse like the towers ever since (unlikely, unprecedented, unique events are not impossible) and lots of Arguments from Incredulity generally. I was amazed that he claimed there was never a report, or that he'd never bothered to check out the facts/arguments at all. Jimmy beats his chest a few times an episode about how other people use straw men, distracting arguments or pure misinformation - he's done the same thing here.
I really hope Jimmy doesn't go down the Truther road; the guys have really only disappointed me back when they approved of that bogus powderfinger guy on Oprah (Janeane Garafolo said some pretty daft things, but even a lefty like me knows to take her stuff with a pinch of salt). It's refreshing to hear a socialist American comedian each week, though I much prefer the dynamic on the podcast to Jimmy's KPFK show.
