The Onion is running this interview with Dana and Robert Smigel where they detail the history of the Dana Carvey show.
The interesting part is Dana talking about his career and kind of where he went and how he plans to comeback. Since he just disappeared rather than fell apart its strange that he is so convinced (or possibly just self-deprecating, hard to tell in print) that his showbiz career is over.
I hope that if he does make a comeback, he does takes a page from Norm MacDonald, Tim Meadows and Kevin Nealon who aren't considered great successes, but are still funny and find ways to make an impression regardless of the size of their part in whatever project.
Anyway, I found the article interesting and maybe this isn't worth its own thread but Dana was my first favorite comic and I imagine I am not alone on this board.
