Hey Doug, I was listening to The DLM podcast yesterday, and heard you talking about how you liked drive in's, and how they're dissapearing. I know you don't hang out with fans after shows, but i thought I would throw out an invitation to the drive in theater in Utah when you're here to perform. Since the show starts at 4:20, there would be plenty of time to make it over to the drive in.
Double post...
We know you love movies and theater.
How about TV? Favorite program? Guilty pleasure show?
And did you ever get around to watching The Wire?
my favorite shows right now are BREAKING BAD and FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS. and as much as i love movies, week in and week out these shows are better than most movies. and i think part of the reason tv is better is because it's more of a writer's medium than a director's. and there just isn't as much time in tv for executive meddling.
i'm almost finsihed with season 1 of THE WIRE and i love it!
(mcnulty!)
Doug, since you're becoming a fan of UFC, you should definitely try to see the fights tomorrow night at a sports bar or something because it should be pretty great, Anderson Silva is fighting in the main event he is considered to be the best fighter in the world right now.
CAKE BOSS!
Doug: I apologise if you covered this before, but...
PUNISHER: WAR ZONE.
Thoughts?
I love that actors from THE WIRE have shown up on FNL.
(Stringer Bell!)
OK, he actually showed up on THE OFFICE but he's one of my favorites from THE WIRE.
And I know this isn't a question for Doug but I couldn't resist posting a reply to his answer. I'm a big fan of THE WIRE and FNL.
