Anyway! This reminded me! Whats the inside scoop on the Del Close? I really want to go but suspect it costs a buttload. Doug, do you need a Marathon intern or something?

It usually only costs about $30 for a wristband, and that gets you into 48 hours of shows at UCB Theater and a couple of other theaters nearby.

I can't find any info on buying tickets. I'll be at UCB tonight and I'll ask someone.

Back from UCB. I asked the manager and he said tickets for non-performers don't go on sale until the first day of the festival.

true story: lori and dori are from my home town in PA and once when I was in high school I was in Subway with them, and they called for a cab, and I asked them if I could share a cab with them, and they said yes. my car was in the parking lot, but since i've always been a dick i just wanted to see what it was like. i assumed i'd have a great story to tell people, which i guess is kinda cool, but they were actually super cool chicks, it was impossible to make fun of them.
