Doug just announced on Twitter that he'll be doing the Interruption and Doug Loves Movies at the DCM.

Doug - any plans for pre-DCM performances that week leading up to the marathon? I heard some fun stuff could be scheduled. (I was at the Interruption you did a few days before the DCM last year. PFTompkins, Anthony Jeselnik, Moshe, Nick Kroll...extremely awesome.)

i get into nyc on the friday night of the marathon and leave monday. so no, no pre shows.

Do you know what they do at the UCB when they clean the theater at Midnight during the DCM? Do they just kick everyone out for a half n' hour? Looks like you go on right after the cleaning.. So that will be nice. Nicer.

I'm mostly planning on attending for DLM - but if anyone know of any other good DCM acts to catch, I'm all ears.

There are some awesome shows that are done at FIT a few blocks away. "Baby Wants Candy", "Facebook" "Asssscat"...definitely check out the schedule. (Although FIT tickets aren't on sale yet.)

At UCBT I suggest Lets have A Ball, Mantzoukas and Huebel, Stepfathers, Wicked Fuckin Queeyah - of course, Doug's shows. Also - Flap Jackson - my fave Harold team from UCBLA - over at Urban Stages.

Man - I almost don't want to give up more suggestions. More people crammed into that theatre means it will be impossible to get in. And...on Sat night specifically - I'm getting in even if I have to skin a hipster for his fur.

We're not gunna get any clues as to who may accompany you on the stage for DLM at the DCM, no? I don't think it matters really - I can't think of a guest you've had yet that I didn't like. (But you know.. if Jon Hamm is in town...)

There are really no tickets for the Marathon at the UCB Theatre, Urban Stages and Guild Hall. You purchase a wristband for $25 at UCBT when they open the doors around 4pm on the Friday it starts. People start waiting in line around 1:00pm to get them. That wristband gets you into shows at all three venues for the entire weekend - so don't chop it off.

The FIT shows are sold separately as regular tickets. (Your wristband alone won't get you in). They actually just went on sale - so you can purchase them in advance. Your name will be on a list at the Kate Murphy theater at FIT, and you can pick them up and then get in line.

I think there was... but I haven't seen any new info on it for a long ass time.

I'm assuming that nametags are to be in full effect for all away shows as they are for the home court LA shows, oui? And a continuation of kickass prizes? (Can one of the prizes BE Jon Hamm? Coz I could use one of those.)

Also, which other podcasts do you like being a guest on? I've heard you on other ones, and its always a nice time for me.

It's my fault for asking in this threadt. And for making this post as well. I am sorry for everything. On the positive tip, it's very helpful information and I would never know to go wait at 1PM to get a wristband. Doug Stuff and Faith No More are my Two Big Summer Events I am attending.

and i've got something to add:

the ucb theatre is going to be cleaned each night at 12:00, so, as i understand it, the room will cleared at midnight, and then anyone who wants to come back in will have to go to the back of the line. so if it's your intention to see either of my shows, they both happen at 12:30am, so your best bet would be to line up sometime between 9:00pm and midnight, so you'll be close to the front of the line when they re-open after a cleaning. and then you'll have a seat for all the amazing middle-of-the-night shows, including the always insane MATCH GAME '76.
