It's getting to the point that I am going to ban people for thinking its okay to say mean jokes to total strangers.
Hey Doug,
When are you making it up to Minneapolis next? You really need to.
I think you should write a screenplay. At least your idea of a comedy film wouldn't be setting up two cameras and have people talk as fast as possible about nothing at all like those other guys.
I love puns.
Doug,
How long before you hit up Eugene, OR again? I know it's only been 3 months, but I need to like laugh and stuff. And I know what you're thinking.... but don't worry, I wasn't one of the ones trying to get you to take your clothes off. #yesiwas #ithinkthisistwitter

That is totally amazing! Doug is one of the hardest working guys out there. I had to take a double take at the line~~
'raised awareness and support for the issues that matter most to him in culture and politics'....at first I thought it said 'cultivation politics'
Congrats Doug!
Pictures of the presentation ceremony? [pleassse]
there won't be a ceremony. i'm just doing a show tonight.
(but thanks!)
This weekend I saw "The Union: The Business Behind Getting High". I can't recommend the movie enough in that it was very comprehensive on all points related to the marijuana debate. It covers everything, some of which I hadn't thought about before. It is such a well made case to the ridiculousness of pot's prohibition that it makes every argument against it just seem plain illogical. What's more, these arguiments have no pertinence to the illegality of other drugs, in that you couldn't use the same arguments about Meth or Coke for example. Really well done as an educational tool and a thorough breakdown of the situation current and why it is that way. Aso pretty infuriating.
Doug, when I reviewed (loosely) Super High Me here a few years back, you mentioned that Super High Me was to be seen as a piece of entertainment, first and foremost, and as a documentary a distant second. And to that end, I found that to be the case. Highly entertaining with some great information and an eye opening look into today's dispensary trade, but more often than not, just real fun to watch (got to see my first Interruption!). This film was about the canadian drug trade but addressed maijuana itself from every facet, very detailed. Because there are some comedian interviews in there (Rogen, Chong). I was wondering if you had been contacted in any way to appear in it? Also, would like to know your opinion of the film as I'm sure you've seen it.
Hopefully a Florida date is in your future at some point (I'll join the rallying cries of "come where I live!"). Looking forward to the new album. Thanks.

"nobody". i feel like you, and grahm really showed people around here what good...great, live comdy is... Now i really have to step my open mic game up. I cant believe you busted out live "doug loves movies". That was the funniest 2 hours of my life.
glad you liked it, glad cameron buchholtz put it together.
(best doug benson day ever!)
how bout scott aukerman and paul f. and todd glass for a doug loves movies... just dont get todd too high this time... sorry... i realize this is just becoming a dlm request line. you watching last comic standing at all this year?
whether he's high or not doesn't change the fact that todd doesn't go to many movies. but i might have him on again someday anyway. scott and paul will definitely be back.
and i've watched every ep of LCS this year.
(next request!)
Since you are requesting requests....
How about an 8 word review on the movie "Bull Durham"?
