Nope, he said he was on a Benson Interruption.

And I feel very privileged to know who the other guest is, but I won't spoil it.

PFT and Jimmy Pardo teamed up for a great ILM tonight. However, unfortunately, the absolute highlight of a very funny show will not be evident in the audio-only format. When Doug presented a semi-ridiculous idea (you'll hear it on the podcast), Paul froze and subtly remained absolutely still while Doug and Jimmy continued to talk. The look on Paul's face was killing me, and after maybe a minute or so with that same, frozen facial expression, he finally broke and questioned Doug about his idea. So, so funny.

I'm refreshing my iTunes podcast tab every our waiting for this!

Hats off to Doug for making a podcast with the greatest replay value I've ever seen. On average I've listened to each podcast at least ten times, and it never gets old. Each episode like a mini stand up album. I recently had to mow an overgrown acre of land with a push mower, and it wasn't so bad thanks to 5 and a half hours of ILM. Great job Doug!

Edit: I think this is more appropriate in spoiler tags, as to not spoil for those who weren't there and eagerly await the podcast. –ILIS

Just a quick note to say that "Sunshine Cleaning" is not a Fox Searchlight movie. I know it seems like it should be, given the cast, the premise, and the ads touting it as being from "the producers of Little Miss Sunshine", but it's not. The company that is distributing it is called Overture. Also, it was a pretty good movie. Not spectacular, but certainly watchable.
Has Mary Lynn Rajskub in it in a fairly large part. It gets the Brasky recommendation.

Also, I laughed when Paul said "JEFFERSON THE BASKETBALL PLAYER!" when you said "Nick Nolte". That is all.

I think he said "Jefferson in Basketball." Don't feel bad, I just listened to it a second ago.

yeah, i should of realized it wasn't a fox searchlight movie when they released it well outside award season.

but i'll see it based on the brasky recommendation.

As for Mr. Pardo in the six degrees of Kevin Bacon, there is an even shorter way to connect the two: Jimmy was in Relative Strangers with Neve Campbell who was in Wild Things with Kevin Bacon.

Thats with no IMDB which has ruined that game

Great episode! This was the first time I got all of the movies before the guest, It's even more of an achievement for me, because I did all three in 0 names.

(I don't usually toot my own horn in front of other people, but this time it just feels too good to pass up.)

Everytime I have tried played Leonard Maltin with friends, it has failed miserably.

"Oh, I'm bad at actor's names...."

Then I tear all of my hair out.
Night gathers, and now my snark begins. It shall not end until it gets hacky. I shall take my wife(... please!), hold no lands, father no negative ratings. I shall wear no crowns and win no AST Top 20 Rankings. I shall live and die by my posts. I am the LOL in the darkness. I am the fire that burns against the trolls, the sneer that guards the realms of men from Kyle Cease's Comedy Boot Camp. I pledge my life and honor to the AST's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.

I usually pull up IMDB and if they can't get it based on names, I dive into memorable quotes.

I did find out the last time I played at home that my husband has never seen Con Air. (I'm living with a stranger!)

Jimmy's saying "I'll give you the names" made me go apeshit at work today.

And not to be too pedantic, but whenever they do the six degrees they number the degrees in a non-standard way. The idea is that Kevin Bacon is zero degrees from himself. If you are in a movie with Bacon, that's one degree, and so on.

This is really important, and has made me lose sleep.
