    Loved the new CD.

    Did anyone else notice the guy with the really intense laugh?

    Yes, and it was pretty annoying. It sounded forced, like he wanted to be able to hear himself on the CD.

    I put together an autographed alt-comedy box for The Mark Sandman Project (which is a nonprofit that teaches kids music). The bidding for it ends tomorrow morning. It includes:

    * An autographed book from David Cross

    * Signed childhood t-shirt of Janeane Garofalo's

    * Autographed items from Michael Showalter: The State DVD set, a signed script from Michael and Michael Have Issues, and an autographed soundtrack from his film, The Baxter

    * New CD, book and an autographed limited edition poster from Eugene Mirman

    I've just finished The Will to Whatevs. It's at times clever and witty, and just as often goofy and hilarious. I highly recommend it. If you like Eugene's work, you really need to read this book.

    The first time I became aware of Eugene Mirman, it was on the Superdeluxe website. If Eug, or anyone, knows where to find the "Space Talk from Dimension Eugene" series, please let me know.

    Eugene, do you have any idea whether you will be doing any NYC shows from October 6th through October 8th?

    No, I'm away those days. Sorry.

    Manohman that is such an amazing lineup. Mr. Mirman, it's awesome that you keep
    putting up for putting up so many great comedians. Brent Sullivan! Kumail! Daniel Kitson! So many others! This is clearly the most sincere comedy fest in the world, and I hope it keeps going on and on and on.

    Oh, how I wish I could see all those shows.

    An ad Eugene paid for in multiple New York newspapers...

    Night gathers, and now my snark begins. It shall not end until it gets hacky. I shall take my wife(... please!), hold no lands, father no negative ratings. I shall wear no crowns and win no AST Top 20 Rankings. I shall live and die by my posts. I am the LOL in the darkness. I am the fire that burns against the trolls, the sneer that guards the realms of men from Kyle Cease's Comedy Boot Camp. I pledge my life and honor to the AST's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.
