I haven't stopped laughing at Murray's dad guitar vs. mom guitar conversation.

Did any of you hardcore fans of THE WIRE spot the mind-cracking cameo? Truth be told, it took me a minute to realize who it was, but when I did, I JUMPED OFF THE COUCH ONTO MY CAPSLOCK KEY.

The punk tango at the end was pretty good.

Yes Patton! Michael Potts, he's the man. That was a fantastic cameo. Up there with Michael K Williams on Human Giant.

Also the Conchords are supposed to be guests on Greg Proops live show at Largo in LA next month. Proops, who has worked with the Conchords a couple of times now appears once a month at Largo and says that the guys are lined up to appear. I've checked Largo listings but as yet no Greg Proops gig for February is showing up. However, it may be added in the not to distant future. Check Largo listings. Tix for Greg Proops shows are usually $25. There I've at least told you about it

    Re: Flight of the Conchords

    Metro Denver: 2 Million people
    Red Rocks capacity: 10,000

    Santa Barbara population: 350,000
    SB Bowl capacity: 5,000

Bay Area, California: 8 million people
    Berkeley Community Theater capacity: 2,000

Makes perfect sense. Tickets were impossible to get when they played Davies Symphony Hall, and that place is huge....

Why do the Conchords only want to play for rich assholes with scalped tickets when they come here?

    Re: Flight of the Conchords

I thought last night's episode was the best of this season so far. Arj and Schall were especially great.

I'm ready for a Murray spin-off at this point.

The whole "hurt feelings" montage was excellent. I loved most of this episode, although it seemed like it should have ended a few minutes before it actually did.

"Magnolia" reference, right? That's what I took it as.

Has anybody seen Rhys Darby's new stand up DVD?

What I've seen of his stand up has been rather terrible, but I still might want to check this out.

    SEYMOUR CASSEL!!

Male prostitute episode was my favourite so far.

    Re: Flight of the Conchords

The Hurt Feelings reprise might be one of my favorite things they've done on the show. I thought last night's episode was just super...they were able to manage all the subplots and weave them together incredibly well.

Plus, Widmore showed up to make sure they didn't make it back to the Island.
    Convoy: 11pm Thursdays at UCBLA
