You can't refute him, he's The Awful Truth.

I really love when in admist of a minor controversy/quibble people will sign up for a message board that they have no interest in genuinely participating in to talk shit to someone and in doing so will sign up with an very specific screename to hammer their point.

Like CanadaHatesDougBenson, AceFansForTruth, and HeyPattonLetMeIntoTheShowIHaveAnASTStickerOnMyMess engerBag.

And while not everyone will enjoy Jesse's quirks (I certifiably didn't agree with this hat/sweater combo ) his greatest and most endearing trait is him being completely genuine. If these crabby superdorks didn't already prejudge him from the get-go they would of probably realized this too.

Garrett Gonzalez Morris (born February 1, 1937) is an American comedian and actor from New Orleans, Louisiana. He was part of the original cast of the sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live, appearing from 1975 to 1980

For the British flautist, see Gareth Morris.

Frankly, it was more a function of the relatively low bandwidth that maximumfun.org usually requires (and that it never peaks), more than the huge amount of traffic they sent.

No one has ever expressed any opinion about Penny Arcade out loud. It has all been typed.

My freshman roommate was also a jerk who loved pennyarcade! He also had a Dragonball Z wall scroll. A DRAGONBALL Z WALLSCROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL LLLLL

that everyone thought was mine because I was asian.

Every Dragonball Z fan I've ever met has been, well, is there a nice way of saying "white trash"?

Also I was curious as to how long ago Jesse would have been in college because for some reason I thought he was significantly younger than me, but he's only a year younger! So he was in college by probably 1999 or 2000 at the latest. So yeah, a decade ago. A dude is holding a grudge for over a decade and obviously Googling Jesse's name and keeping tabs on him for a decade. Christ, if I had to answer to everyone I was slightly impolite to during my late teens and early twenties, I would never have time to do anything but apologize.

But no, the people who go to MaxFunCon are the losers. The losers with money to go to MaxFunCon. I would love to be a big enough loser to afford to go to MaxFunCon, but my winning ways have kept me from becoming wealthy enough to go.

You know what else is a characteristic of being a winner? Spending your free time keeping tabs on a dude you knew in college ten years ago in order to keep your hatred of him fresh and relevant!

    Haha, perfect.

Although my wife and I have had shared some pretty choice words on them over the last couple of days. Out loud and all.

The Dave Holmes episode is GREAT! What a champ to record an episode with you guys, at (I'm assuming) pretty short notice.

Because of Jordan's crazy work schedule, they're *all* on short notice. But God only knows Dave Holmes is a champ!

I narrate my internet attacks aloud in a jaunty British accent before hitting send, so there's that...

Anonymous forum posters aside, we get an excellent Dave Holmes episode, I'm sure there must be a curiosity bump of new listeners for it, too, which should play into it nicely. And PA is back to writing strips that I guess are funny about games I will never play.

    Everyone wins!

Aside: one thing I couldn't help but think about this entire time was the Kevin Pereira episode. Sure, his show might "just" be on G4, but it's a nightly live show. He even had PA on a day before this whole thing broke out. Yet when he was on JJG he played along and even tolerated the first segment of his episode to be broadcast from within an elementary school cafeteria, even riffing on it. Couldn't help but think of how classy that appears when contrasted with recent happenings with people who wield cardboard tubes as samurai swords.

Kevin Pereira is a fucking pro, and a really nice and funny guy. You forgot to mention that he brought us donuts!

The reality is that I've been doing this ten years, five years out of my house, and this is the first time something like this has gone down.

Holy shit, I forgot about the "on location" bits. Count me on the team that would enjoy those making a comeback. If you wanted to.

Yes yes. I take this as a challenge. I will keep an ear out for good audio beds. Perhaps I will record something good and send it in. I believe Jordan and Jesse can riff amazingly on silence, let alone any sort of ambient sound.

I'd say that's a batting average comparable to ( feel free to insert your favorite obscure ballplayer here, Jesse ) .
