That's a batting average comparable to Sabrewulf from Killer Instinct.

And yes, Ziggy has been animated. I remember when I was 7 I was forced to watch this after Garfield and Peanuts' Christmas Specials: http://www.amazon.com/Ziggys-Gift-Jo.../dp/B000AYEIZ4

Dave Holmes is probably one of my favorite people who has ever existed.

Also, the "Buns" thing is talking about the hairstyle that is required in most ballet/dance classes.

Other than NNF, is there *any* podcast that records out of a studio? Even Adam Carolla uses his garage for petes sake. I can't believe these guys' reaction, what a couple of assholes. I think it says a lot about Jesse and the Maximum Fun ethos that people have come down so overwhelmingly on his side.
    I make stuff.

    Well, Comedy Death Ray.

Incidentally, I now wish that people I hated in high school would become famous so that I could go on message boards and slag them off. That sounds like it would be enormously satisfying. Except that I can't remember most of their names.

Clearly you just need to become famous instead. Then they can come out of the woodwork to slag you off, and you'll be reminded.

Oh hey, I hope someone came to this realization before I did, but I believe the dancers and buns sticker had to do with hair being done into a "bun".

I think the people with the car had once seen a license plate frame that sort of made sense (say, "Bakers have nice buns") and, not understanding humor, thought to themselves "You know who really has nice buns? Dancers! They tend to be very toned, dancers. Much better than bakers."

And then, one year at the state fair, while walking from the elephant ear stall to the deep-fried twinkie establishment (this detail is here because they were large!) they saw a place to make their own license plate frame. So they saw an opportunity to alert people to the facts of the situation. In their heads, it's not a joke; it's just how things are. They're providing a public service: are you looking for someone with nice buns? Consider a dancer!

    Nah, probably what brewcaster said.
My rule of thumb: when in doubt, don't post.

I guess this is pretty much the Jordan, Jesse, Go! thread. Here's our MaxFunCon show.

This is great stuff, Jesse! I started listening to the show about a month ago and it's already one of my favorite podcasts. Love it!

Yes - we had a bit of trouble with Jimmy's mic, luckily there were enough mics on stage that you can hear him OK. Other than that, here's the marathon up to about 8PM.

Aside from a few technical issues the entire thing was awesome. Shumka as third chair was amazing and a great surprise. Thanks for such a great show Jesse. You made me a donor, so mission accomplished.

    Thanks, Steven.

If folks aren't already on board the Shumka train, they need to get on right now. Stop Podcasting Yourself is just wonderful, and Dave is an amazingly funny guy. His twitter feed will attest to that.

Agreed. I got introduced to SPY once it became part of the Maximum Fun Family and have been pretty addicted to it lately.

I'm gonna be honest, when I first heard about JJG, I checked it out and didn't like it. I don't know why, maybe it just wasn't the right day for me. But just recently I gave it another chance by listening to the episodes with Todd Glass and Scott Aukerman. I am now a fan. Thank you Jordan, Jesse and Go.
