"The State's 1996 comedy album will be released by Rhino Records soon. See if you can tell how drunk we were."
"Sorry dude, it's just my view." - JENNY 1989-2010

"jumped back into drivers seat.. full beam on.. reversed out street.. took some choice back roads home and came into the house absolutely grey and feeling terrible with what I'd done." -asd123
I already own this album and KNOW how drunk they were!
How the hell did you get it?
Also, here might be a good place to say it, if anyone has a copy of State by State with The State they don't want/need, PLEASE let me know!
Eyes are the losers in the skies.
I've got that too! Bought it online for $75, but well worth it! The rumors were true....h-i-larious book.
As for the album, check this out: http://unheard78.blogspot.com/2009/0...us-living.html
and thank me later!![]()
Thaaaank you Velveteen! I'll soon have this committed to memory, as I do each and every thing The State has done (and the commentaries for those things...and the podcasts to describe those things).
75 is a lot, but I guess it is worth it. Guess my next tattoo is going to have to wait longer than I hoped....The State is more important.
Eyes are the losers in the skies.
Yeah I've had the album a while and played it a bunch on the show. I love the drunk laughter in the "would you rather" track with the Micheals.
Showalter cracking up during the "goin' off" bit always gets me.
Skip This Track (They Were Drunk) makes me smile hardcore.
Eyes are the losers in the skies.
My original copy was ruined during a move and I was lucky enough to find a new copy on Amazon for $30 a few years back. Used copies over there are starting at $90 right now, but if you keep checking back you might find a deal.
If I find my old copy I'll send it your way (if you don't mind severe water damage).
I'm glad that The State album is finally coming out and people can hear David Wain's portrayal of Watson in the Sherlock Holmes skit which is one of the funniest things I've ever heard.
