Thread: NEVER NOT FUNNY SEASON FIVE

I think individually, pictures beat autographs, but you're an asshole if you have a wall of photos and you're not a big producer/other person who is not just a fan.

I will now never submit a question, the NNF death mention curse is too strong.

Braunger was a great guest! Jimmy and Matt (entreprenuer) were funny, as always, but Andrew had my favorite quote this week with
    Spoiler:
    .

I like to get a picture and an autograph at the same time, but don't like to be in the picture with the person (because who wants to see a picture of me with someone? No one). Some people make you be in the picture with them. That always depresses me.

I'm big enough as a person that I don't need/want either an autograph or a picture.

I know I met this person, and I don't need Joe Buttfuck across the street to know I met him when he comes into my house.

Maybe when I'm old and senile it'll be nice, because then I WONT know I'm met someone.

Why are you inviting Joe Buttfuck into your house? You know he's just going to fuck you in the butt...

    Exactly.

The only picture I have of myself with a famous person is with Jim Bakker. (It's true. More infamous than famous I guess.)

I didn't even get a photo with the world famous Never Not Funny troupe during MaxFunCon. I'm just not much of a picture or autograph guy. I prefer shout-outs on the podcast.

I liked having this episode fuck my ears!

Working in a record store did seem like the coolest thing when I was a youngin. I remember I used to ride my bike like an idiot to the record store every day to annoy that old dude about a Snapcase CD that I had special ordered.

Now I hear this Todd Glass fella isn't even pressing a physical copy of his new album. Where should I ride my bike to get it now? Into space?!

I gotta say Bad is my favorite MJ album. I agree that the title track is actually the weak point but every song fits perfectly on the album. Thriller is amazing, of course, but there are so many genres of songs on there (disco, rock, adult contemporary, etc.) that it sounds more like a compilation. Bad has a specific feel to it that all the songs seem to carry (and it's mostly that rhythmic bass). It's such a good album and this is all probably due to the fact that he wrote and composed more of this album than he had on the first two.

I know a lot of people say Off the Wall is the best but I was one year old when that came out and so the late 80's sound of Bad tugs at my heart & soul more than any of his other stuff.

    The best songs on there:

    Another Part of Me
    Just Good Friends
    Liberian Girl
    Leave Me Alone
The Way You Make Me Feel

I like when Andrew gets all indignant while assuming that his upbringing was somehow totally normal and just like everyone else's.

I'm sure most child actors with a parent from Star Trek never thought the guy working at the record store was cool, but there's a large part of the population that may have had a slightly different teenage experience...

What I wanna know is, what the hell was the crazy drumming noise that overwhelmed the audio right before the Judge Jimmy song?

Jimmy drummed on the metal filing cabinet next to him. He put the mike up close to make sure we all heard it.

    This is a terrible idea.

I think I would be like season one Belknap times 100.

I would clunk it up more than.. a ... really... clunky thing...

I hope Braunger becomes a regular. He was really great.

I just relistened to episode 205 in which Jimmy talks about his previous warm-up gigs. It gives interesting perspective to his current Tonight Show job.

I just happen to listen to episode 240 where they bash the warm-up gig and of course there is a Pat story that they never finish. He started to tell how he was fired from the warm-up gig at Ben Stein's Money. So, now we have two Pat stories on back burner. Something to hope for but not expecting because we all know how Jimmy loves requests from the fans.
"You're supposed to be the nerdy quiet guy. Why are you all of a sudden getting mouthy?" Jimmy to Matt

then stop trying to get mentioned on the show again.

back to 513, one of my good friends is talking about moving in with "the guy at the record store" from our days in jr. high school.
one step up from "the guy that works at the record store" is "the guy that owns his own record store," who i was chummy with in high school and who worked a second job making sandwiches at the deli across the street from the school.

So he got a lot of pussy at the one job, then had to give it back at the other?

it's all about pussy for you, isn't it, sassy?
