I would assume the "soft" song he was talking about was "A World Without Heroes". Pretty sure there's other clips out there of the Anaheim show Mark talked about, too.

I really enjoyed the episode - nice change of pace.

I am so used to the way that Pardo is funny in a normal Never Not Funny, where hes leading the ship and contributing and its boom-boom-boom, but I have to admit I was surprised when he was funny in 20 of the 20 sentences he spoke on the newest episode.
I wouldn't want all the episodes to be that way, but I enjoyed that one. It's kind of crazy how much of a Zelig-like life the guest had. He seemed to know everyone, and looking at his wikipedia, there are like 20 amazing songs and 20 amazing artists that he did backup vocal and session work with/for that he didn't even talk about.

I don't actually watch the video ever except when I want to see something specific (and its worth it for that. especially when I want to see the clothes that Jimmy is making fun of), but I ponied up, just because I want to listen to the episodes as soon as possible.
But I would never spoil because even though I know who it is before Jimmy announces it, I love the moment when iTunes tells me who is on the episode and I know that I will be listening in a minute.
That should be the code of all us video subscribers, make it sound so exciting that Scammy and the primo-non-plus's will put down the extra dough but never give enough clues so that they will know.

I understand what you're saying...but at the same time, I'm not gonna worry too much about people who can't bother to avoid the thread until AFTER they've heard the latest episode ( like, I dunno..I DO ) . Really all I referred to was who the guest was ( & not even 100% explicitly ) & something they mentioned.

In fairness, sometimes people come to this thread to discuss the "current" episode, after the new video has been posted, but prior to the new audio and the changing of the thread name.

I try not to spoil because I find that there are too few good surprises in life, and I don't want to ruin this little weekly surprise for others.

Spoiling is not punishable by death or banning, it's just a nice courtesy.
