I was sad he wasn't in season 5 but one hell of a way to kick off Season 6!

the shadows in that picture make it seem like Never Not Führer

Production note: I increased the bitrate on the mp3 encode to improve the sound quality of the audio podcast (the new mics sounded so good that I didn't want to crunch the sound so much). This means bigger files -- about 12-15MB larger on average. Hopefully this isn't a deal-breaker for anyone, but please let me know your thoughts.

When I first started watching the video my immediate reaction was dread because I thought a giant robot arm was going to reach out and snatch Jimmy. Turns out it was just the mic stand. Since the fear subsided though, I have been laughing my ass off.

Man, the last Bil Dwyer episode might be my favorite episode ever so I'm hella looking forward to this episode.

Perhaps it's just initial excitement, but I think the new intro might be my all-time favorite. And that's despite the incomplete version of the Al Pacino quote.

I just LOVE that the Bammer is in the opening montage. That's one of the funniest things she's said on the show.

I think this might be my favorite opening yet!

There was indeed already a David Johansen (not "Darryl Johansen") entry on Obvious Trivia, but not the one Jimmy mentioned in this episode. So, now it's there.

Weee! I've been indirectly mentioned! In The Bridge IV, Jimmy and Matt briefly talk about Streets Of Fire and how "someone" asked if Jimmy had seen it, that's me! I'm famous! Who wants to touch me?

PS - Matt, the movie produced one hit, Dan Harmon's "I Can Dream About You", a white solo artist though it was performed in the movie by a group of black gentleman including Robert Townsend.

Also, I'm totally proud to have my Widescreen vs. Fullscreen Judge Jimmy mentioned yet again.

Is there a delay in the episode appearing in Itunes? Because I usually just get it right through the Itunes feed, but a new feed for Season 6 hasn't appeared yet.

Since it's a new season, you have to go to Pardcast.com and click the "listen in iTunes" link. That will open iTunes and ask for your login info.

If you've already done that... then I'm not sure.

Re: NEVER NOT FUNNY #601 - Bil Dwyer

Thanks Darryl. I guess I must have had to do that for previous seasons, but I didn't remember. Everything's working now.

Just singing this randomly all day. In the grocery store. (Only buy the avocados that are still a bit firm. And drinkin' cocaine). At the post office. (Only buy the Forever Stamps -- they're a better value. And drinkin' Cocaine).

    Awesome episode. Loved it.

    I think Bil and Jimmy would really enjoy this show;

It must be something about people who are good at radio, since all of them seem to forget everything they talk about, but its funny to me when a specific subject gets brought up that's been talked about and neither Matt or Jimmy has any idea. When Bil mentioned the Michael Landon running movie and Matt & Jimmy don't remember that they had spent 10 minutes talking about it (this is not a complaint about repeated material btw). It's so specific that it's weird that both of them sounded like they had never heard of it, especially since Jimmy remembered it last time. It feels oddly weak that I remember listening to them talking about it but they don't remember talking about it.

Same for me. Here's my theory: they have lives. NNF IS my life!
