Thread: NEVER NOT FUNNY SEASON FIVE

Re: NEVER NOT FUNNY #501 - Scott Aukerman

Snuggie themed costume parties.. This thing has become firmly ingrained into the pop culture stream at this point I think that it will go down like The Clapper.. the same commercial for the next 20 years and the same group of seniors/ironic shoppers keeping the genius inventor of this blanket a mutli-millionaire.. Sham-Wow is nothing compared to this thing, it owes its popularity to Vince Offer alone, but it seems like everyone wants a Snuggie, or at least.. wouldn't reject it as a gift.. I'm just jealous I didn't think of it first.. I've been using a poncho to keep warm like a chump..

Also, I as well have recently noticed the extremely off-putting decline in quality of soap operas. Location shooting combined with digital recording and soap opera acting make for show that just looks very, very low rent.

I think you've stumbled onto your million dollar idea. Market the Snuggie in Mexico.

After spending a week in Connecticut with family, I realized I was not taking colder climes into account in my Snuggie opinion. If I lived anywhere even slightly colder than Los Angeles, I'd be all over a Snuggie.

You mean all up in that Snuggie?

My girlfriend was watching WGN the other day and she caught a televised Bob & Tom segment in which Jimmy Pardo, self-professed gentleman detective, was peeing into something called the wizz-o-meter.

    For shame, sir.

I caught that episode. I knew Pardo would be on it at some point, and I happened to catch it. He was hysterical as usual. The bathroom segment was funny and surprising to see from such a gentleman!

But what cracked me up the most was the "Can I borrow a pencil?" bit. Too hard to explain as I'm heading out the door, but if you saw it you know.

Me too. And why was Pardo pissing into this whizz-o-meter?

Apparently it's been an ongoing Bob and Tom thing that they do with the guests. I have to say it was hysterical. Plus, after enduring a barrage of short jokes at his expense, when he went into the bathroom, they had placed a thick book on the floor in front of the urinal to serve as a booster so he could "reach the urinal."

I have refrained from pointing this out out of an exaggerated sense of modesty but I am honored that the premier episode of Season 5 is the "Gene's Episode" I am truly touched and humbled.

Congrats, Gene. But, really, you have to share it. I understood it to be "The Genes Episode." So, you have to share the glory with both DNA and Gene Gene the Dancing Machine.

This is going back to season 1 but I think Jimmy has some royalties coming to him because I think he came up with this movie: A character thats a little shifty. Only Justin Timberlake isn't in this so never mind.

BWEWPFT is talking about another subject that NNF has touched on. People having sex with objects. Objectimsexuals. They also delve into the subject of people who love their cars.

    As usual, great episode.

I would think that if electronic devices like ipods were really that dangerous, Homeland Security would never let them on planes in the first place.
