regarding lewis: i would say that he's clearly unraveling, but i'm not sure that he was ever fully raveled.
He seemed reasonably fine on Conan the other night. Why is this a concern, really?
This was all I could think of when Richard Lewis was on TDS

Richard Lewis kinda reminded me of when I saw Carlin in 2007?

This isn't about comedy, but it's also not worth its own thread.
An interview with MF Doom from Wax Poetics magazine, which is noteworthy because, well, it's an interview with MF Doom.
Haha, I never thought I would see the Stones Throw forum linked on here.
I think besides being confronted (kind of) on the whole impostor thing, the most revealing part is finding out that Doom didn't know Stephen Colbert was in character.
Oh well. I was hoping he'd give a shout-out to DJ Wesu at the very least. Poor guy will never get credit for his stage-presence.

What was the best concert you've been to?
-- Probably Sade. It was just so sexy and relaxing.
Given that much of this article talks about how the woman faced ridicule, shame and various other indignities as a result of a misdiagnosis they probably could have come up with a more sympathetic headline.

A virtual murder has shaken up the 'Maple Story' community
The virtual murder of a digital persona in a computer game landed a Japanese woman in a very real jail.
The 43-year-old piano teacher told cops she was so infuriated when her online "husband" suddenly dumped her - she hacked into his site and killed his avatar, which is a digital image the represents the player.
"I was suddenly divorced, without a word of warning," she told investigators, who declined to divulge her name. "That made me so angry."

Luckilly for the victim, who lives 620 miles away from the alleged "killer," the woman had not plotted any revenge in the real world, the official said.
The fueding couple met online while playing in the interactive game "Maple Story," police said.
In it, players pit their avatars in battles against monsters and obstacles - and sometimes get entangled in virtual romances.
'SAINTS ROW 2 IS A SIN
In this case, the object of the piano teacher's desire was really a 33-year-old office worker.
When their relationship went on the fritz, she used the login information he gave her when they were hot and heavy - and killed off his character.
Now the piano teacher has to face the music. She faces a max of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine if she's convicted of committing an electronic execution.
First it was a little movie that was going to star James Marsden.
Then it was an HBO series written and produced by Mark Steven Johnson (the veritable powerhouse of talent behind such classic hits as Daredevil and Ghost Rider).
Now it has officially been picked up by Columbia Pictures by director Sam (motherfucking) Mendes. We're getting a Preacher movie from the creator of American Beauty. I'm really stoked at such a quality director bringing this to the screen, however I am worried it will deviate from the source material more so than the HBO project would have (none) since Mendes would obviously want to tinker with the script. Does that mean we would see his wife (Kate Winslet) as Tulip?
After several previous brushes with cancellation, Fox has opted not to renew veteran animated comedy "King of the Hill" beyond its current 13th season.
In April, Fox picked up 13 more episodes from the 20th Century Fox TV-produced show, which are wrapping production.
A lot has changed since "King of the Hill" premiered in 1997. Its creators Greg Daniels and Mike Judge have moved on to other projects -- Daniels developed and is running NBC's "The Office," and Judge has a new animated series, "The Goode Family," launching on ABC in midseason.
Judge had continued to voice the central character on the series, alongside voiceover cast members Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Brittany Murphy, Tom Petty, Johnny Hardwick and Stephen Root.
"Hill" has been executive produced by Judge, Daniels, John Altschuler, Dave Krinsky, Michael Rotenberg, Howard Klein, Jim Dauterive and Garland Testa.
This would've been a real tragedy about 7 years ago when the show completely ran out of gas.
Don't get me wrong, the first 5 years were all kinds of great.

To add insult to injury, "American Dad" DID get renewed for another season.
