"Even gutter hags trump pretty boys." - BabyCakes
Thanks for posting that, MrDys. Very enjoyable. (Although it stopped loading for me at 1:22:50. I need to reload and see if the whole thing will load.)
"Are those thought drops?"
Some other cool guests on there as well. Doug Benson, "John" Hamm, Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel!
Does anybody have any news on PFT's one hour special?

I've decided to buy literally every copy of Paul's new album. Not to share, I'm just going to listen to a fresh one every day until they run out.
I'm in.
That IS good news. I was at one of the tapings, and it went really well, but I was worried on account of him recording it over St. Patrick's Day weekend. That's Chicago's Mardi Gras, minus the food and music.
I haven't heard any harrowing stories from him about the experience anywhere, so I guess the rest of it went ok, too.
Saw him last year in Maryland, and cannot WAIT for the CD. Hope the "Magic Castle" or "Hats in the Belfry" sneak in there.
"This is not the Beach Boys. It can't be. Why? No beach songs! I thought it was some kind of joke. All 'Pet Sounds' offers is the opportunity to hear Brian Wilson whine for forty minutes, backed by elevator music. There's barely any Mike Love on the album at all."
I thought he said it'll be released by "some dvd company or another"

I saw Mr.PFT in Toronto tonight, and I have to say:
Totally awesome. Couldn't have been better. Me > happy.
Thanks very much to B. Kerr for making it happen, and to PFT for actually coming!
Thanks for coming Velveteen. The show was fantastic! Paul F. was in PERFECT form. Hilarious! Outstanding.
Last night was a dream come true. I'm very thankful to everyone who made it possible.
And Paul's one of the coolest guys ever. Seriously.
It was fantastic, it was great!
I went to the second show and holy fuck I couldn't stop laughing.
Bob Kerr's Babe Ruth with low self-esteem had me chuckling all night, Katie was hilarious as always (thumbs up motorcycle mouse), and Paul F. Tompkins, let's just say I'd gladly pay 10 times the amount I paid to see him (and more!).
I like comedy.

Hey, do either of you guys have any good pics from last night? I was in the 3rd row, first show....I didn't want to come off like a smack, snapping away right in his face (much to the chagrin of my buddies)....all I got was a shot of the backdrop, pre-show...and the chalkboard on the sidewalk.
Ok, so a little longer than an hour. Here ya go: http://www.third-beat.com/?p=942
I would like to thank Paul for wearing a grey suit, making the colour correction process so smooth.
