    Re: Paul F. Tompkins Thread

    Just downloaded it.

It's my first iTunes purchase so this will go down in history.

    Re: Paul F. Tompkins Thread

    It's only $7.99 on Amazon mp3.

    Re: Paul F. Tompkins Thread

BRILLIANT. As if I expected anything less. Does Paul ever not blast it out of the park?

    Re: Paul F. Tompkins Thread

I want Harry Chapin on every PFT release.

    Re: Paul F. Tompkins Thread

I bought it straight from AST, so I get to wait. Why must I be punished?

    Re: Paul F. Tompkins Thread

is there a difference between the physical and digital releases?

  7. #147

    Re: Paul F. Tompkins Thread

You can fondle the physical release.

    Re: Paul F. Tompkins Thread

Did anyone else pay the extra 200$ to have PFT show up to your house and just nonchalantly throw the CD at you while he's twittering?

@JPSpaulding - for some reason that made me laugh a lot.

Just bought both of Paul's standing up comedy cds on itunes. (big fan, just playing catch up with his releases.)

    BUY THIS CD.

    (bump)

Paul's appearance on The David Feldman Comedy Podcast is yet another good one! Highly recommended.

It's been 2 days since Freak Wharf came out and I still haven't received it yet. I pre-ordered it weeks ago. Every second that passes is a howling void of misery and despair. Soon I will devolve into a hairy, grunting mass of broken humanity who subsists on the bones of week-old take-out leftovers stolen from the break room of the Best Buy I will live behind. I will make little sculptures of Paul out of dirt and Bed Bath & Beyond circulars and imagine that they are telling his hilarious jokes in the Nell-speak I will be using to communicate. The only vestiges of English that will survive my transformation will be the phrase "mailman no bring funnyman earcandy".

In one of the AST News threads about Freak Wharf, I cried about not having received my pre-order (blaming my office's mailroom), and Matt and Ryan explained that they went out on Monday because Ryan was out of town and we should be getting them tomorrow.

I was listening to the cd as I was going through these comments, and I literally got to this line on the cd just as I read it. Wow that was really strange.

    Re: Paul F. Tompkins Thread

I desperately want a massive poster of the Freak Wharf album art.

    Re: Paul F. Tompkins Thread

I would also pay for such a thing.

Album of the year, both in terms of content and cover art! Seriously, that is badass album art, I couldn't even tell it was a painting until I scrutinized it closely.
    I'm in.
