I haven't seen any mention of it in any of the articles this week. I'd say it's a long shot.
NBC, FOX, and (probably) ABC's pickups seem to be pretty much set in stone.

Well, NBC canceled Law and Order so there's one more hour to fill.
This could mean one more new drama or perhaps (with some schedule finesse) a two hour block of comedy on Wednesdays -- meaning 2 comedies still TBA.
Until I hear The Strip has for sure been rejected, I will not stop refreshing Variety. I NEED to see The Strip!
Eyes are the losers in the skies.
I do think that NBC is picking up (at least) 2 more comedies to fill a second new hour. Three that have been thrown about are the new Paul Reiser show (can't believe i'm typing that in 2010), Friends with Benefits, and This Little Piggy. I imagine (and hope) The Strip is in the mix with those, even though it hasn't been mentioned as frequently.
Though it has the worst title and doesn't sound good, picking up This Little Piggy, another multi-camera show, and The Strip together may be a good move. You have Outsourced/Perfect Couples as the single camera hour, and then The Strip/Piggy as the multi-camera hour, since Beach Lane is said to be dead. It might be the best hope for The Strip to succeed.

Law & Order being dead probably just clears the way for The Rockford Files remake. Blecch.
Another Deadline update, this time on CBS. Comedy info:
CBS pulled the trigger early on the Chuck Lorre-produced comedy Mike & Molly today. Also hot on the comedy side is Bleep My Dad Says, with Team Spitz and Livin’ On a Prayer also in serious contention.
[And my cynical remark above about Rockford Files replacing Law & Order appears to have been premature: Deadline reports that it's dead, at least for now.]
Oh, "Better Off Ted" is officially cancelled, but that doesn't really come as a surprise.
(Especially since Andrea Anders is in "Mr. Sunshine")
The Wanda Sykes Show is cancelled
The late-night talk show started off strong but tumbled in the ratings as the season went on and fell below the performance of predecessor MadTV in the Saturday 11 PM hour. Fox has options for the late-night Saturday slot. It has been actively developing sketch comedies this pilot season and ordered two pilots, one written by and starring Dana Carvey and Spike Feresten, with another, from Jamie Foxx and MadTV creators Fax Bahr and Adam Small. Coincidentally, Fox aired MadTV and Spike Feresten's talk show in late-night on Saturday before canceling them last spring and launching The Wanda Sykes Show. But the two new sketch shows were not developed specifically for late night. Sources said Fox is also considering them for primetime, possibly on Fridays or Saturdays.
Friends with Benefits picked up. Dammit!
Not a comedy, but NBC also just picked up the Conan O'Brien produced legal drama Garza.
This Little Piggy is also said to be dead. So, I guess this means NBC has to decide between Paul Reiser and The Strip. Come on, The Strip!!!

I'm excited for Pilot Season to be over to we'll get into Theme Song Season. I wanted the Rockford re-make to happen solely because it's the best theme song ever (along with Night Court). Let's hope one of these terrible shows at least gets a catchy theme song.
Eyes are the losers in the skies.
It sounds like NBC is probably planning to put "Outsourced" on Thursdays, and put "Friends with Benefits" and "Perfect Couples" together on another night (probably Wednesday).
If "Outsourced" does go on Thursdays, that means one of the current Thursday night comedies is probably going to be pushed to midseason. Of the 4, I'm thinking it would most likely be "Parks & Recreation". I don't think they'd delay "30 Rock", and "The Office" isn't going anywhere.
Maybe they can put "Friends with Benefits" and "Perfect Couples" together on Wednesday nights, and then "Love Bites" at 9, for a theme night of sappy relationship shows I won't be watching.
I actually think that 30 Rock would be the one they would move if they have to move one (and I really hope they don't). Both Community and Parks & Rec aren't stable enough to be paired with a new show on a new night. While, 30 Rock may not set the ratings on fire, it is at least a show that has won a ton of awards and has a lot of awareness.
I imagine next season that either Community or P&R gets moved after The Office. I could see them moving Outsourced to that timeslot as well, but again, I really hope that doesn't happen.
Oh, and looks like Reiser's show is in trouble! Unless NBC doesn't pick up any more comedies, which I doubt since 3 is an odd number. There has to be at least one more, and something possibly for mid season.
The Futon Critic has a handy scorecard listing which shows have been renewed, which pilots have been picked up already, etc.
Weirdly, they've got "Bob's Burgers" listed as having being picked up to series by FOX. I haven't seen that news anywhere else; I'm not sure if that's a mistake or what.
Edit: My bad, I went back and reread my original post here about "Bob's Burgers" and it was picked up for 13 episodes by FOX. But it's not supposed to premiere until sometime in 2011.

bad news on 'The Strip' front via Tom Lennon's Twitter:
"NBC just passed on our pilot "The Strip" -- lots of very funny people in it. Ah well."

Yep, officially no dice on "The Strip." We're all disappointed, but I know I speak for Tom and Ben and the rest of the cast when I say we wouldn't have done a single thing differently. We had a ball and made a funny show with the guidelines we were given, and the network went a different way. That's what pilot season is.
But I do want to thank all of you at AST.com for your enthusiasm. It meant a lot to all of us, and I can't wait to show you the next thing we do.
Many, many, many thanks.

NBC couldn't be worse at anything. What terrible idiots in charge. Ugh.
There is no way I can watch that network anymore. I certainly hope that the pilot gets leaked, we can all see it, someone will see how great it is, and give you guys the production budget you deserve.
I was really looking forward to Dave Holmes and Natasha Leggero being household names![]()

Sorry to hear, Dave! I was really looking forward to The Strip, but I guess NBC wants to tap into the Friends ripoff market this fall. Such a shame. I greatly look forward to whatever you, Lennon/Garant, Leggero, and the rest of the cast/crew have coming in the future.
Meanwhile, that really sucks about Running Wilde. I guess I see FOX's point, in that I don't really see where it could fit on the schedule this fall (especially since Arrested's long timeslot, with the animated shows, doesn't seem like an option). I guess they feel those other two comedies are better for a night of cheese.
I guess the best hope is for whichever of the new comedies that gets canceled first will bump up Wilde's premiere date, and get it a bigger episode order.
NBC orders 6 episodes of Paul Reiser show
What's wrong with NBC? It's one bad decision after another with them.
