Thread: The Superego Podcast - Live! at SFSketchfest, Jan 21

Re: The Superego Podcast - Episode 2:16, Season 2 finale

Haven't listened yet but what a line up. Kudos on another great season doctors. I don't think any other form of entertainment has made me laugh harder over the past year.

By the way, the fact that this is the only monthly podcast that I subscribe to makes it by far the most anticipated, and even with the highest of expectations they still hit it out of the park every time. That being said I'm ready for a good time in my down belows.

I've already listened to it three times. That Herve Villechaize shit cracks me up.

    "Go suck a fuck."

Hello, favorite new phrase in my vernacular. I will look forward to using you the next time my brother tries to mooch a ride off me.

Oh, this episode was so wonderful... I cannot descibe the depth (and breadth) of my enjoyment of it. I think I much have injured myself explosively laugh/snorting at Jordan saying "Rage Baby." Also, I think I want to learn an intstument and form a band just to name it Rage Baby.

The episode was great enough to distract me from the sorrow of knowing hiatus time was a-comin' to the land of Superego... For, like, 25 minutes and 34 seconds, anyway.

    Hello friends,

While we may not be releasing new episodes for a few more months, we're still working every month to bring you Superego approved content.

If you've been following along, we've had some great artistic fans animating some of our iconic sketches. Pete Balch, Maggie the GPS, and FDR were previous week's entries. Go check 'em out at our website GoSuperego.com or you can find them on Funny or Die. Superego on Funny or Die!

And today, we bring you Paul F. Tompkins as Nathan the Talking Gorilla! Art by the amazing Damon Gentry and animated by myself.

Thanks for watching! We've got a few more animated shorts to release in the next few weeks as well as some very special episodes of previously unreleased material. Lots of great stuff coming from Superego in the next few months, so stay tuned to the iTunes feed or we're always on Facebook and Twitter.

    Hey folks,

    Mark from Superego here.

We're releasing a new animated short tomorrow, available on iTunes. It's one of our favorites of the bunch- Milton and Dupree. Get it December 1st on iTunes or at our website- gosuperego.com

Also, before we launch season 3, we're going to do an episode or two of archived stuff that has never seen the light of day. We will also take some time to answer questions and respond to comments. If you have a question or comment, please e-mail us at gosuperego@gmail.com

Thanks for listening! We'll be back with all new episodes starting March 1st, 2011.

I miss listening to this podcast more frequently. March cannot come fast enough.

It wasn't really a shit show... more of an excrement parade.

March is so very far away. Enable your Dependent Personality Disorder by winning Season 1 of Superego! If you already have it, you can still vote on what YOU think was 2010's biggest comedy podcast moment.

Will you win? The Yorba Linda Demon Moon Ouija Board Club says the planchette points to Sarah...Michelle...Y...E...S!

Was listening to WTF and Maron announced that half the psychiatric disorders are now no longer counted as disorders in the DSM. What's going to happen to the framing device???

The outmoded diagnoses will only apply to old-timey characters.

Re: The Superego Podcast - Episode 2:16, Season 2 finale

Thanks, Mr. Museum! You beat me to the punch!

In the run up to the start of Season 3, we've created two "Superego: Second Opinions" episodes filled with behind the scenes action, unheard sketches, music, and more! Featuring Paul F. Tompkins, Jesse Thorn and Jordan Morris, Derek Mears, and other friends.

Part 1 is on sale on our website (http://www.gosuperego.com); only $1.99 for almost an hour of rarities and B-sides, the funds we raise go towards keeping the site up, the bandwidth tidy, and make us able to offer the rest of our high-quality content free for all!

Thanks for listening and supporting us and we're getting ready for the new season. Stay tuned!

I just want to publicly thank glands for pushing me to listen to this podcast.

For the past two days I've been listening to season 2 episodes back to back and I laughed out loud like an idiot at Gentleman's Collar $1 flash light rentals and couldn't really explain to my bosses why.

This podcast is ridiculous and I love it.

I'm already salivating for that Journeymen album. Not even as comedy, but as music. Those rough tracks were phenomenal, and Leaving on a Dare is one of those songs that has taken up permanent space in my brain for all time.
