Thread: Tim and Eric Thread

    Re: Tim and Eric Thread

In case anyone was wondering, yes, James Quall did make a Groundhog's Day joke, and it KILLED (at least with me).

"Today is of course Groundhog's Day which we celebrate by having a Groundhog come out of a hole. Meanwhile in Tampa some Cardinals flew back to Arizona to bury themselves in a hole"

or something like that. I'm mangling it.

This show made my life. Diarrhea.
Night gathers, and now my snark begins. It shall not end until it gets hacky. I shall take my wife(... please!), hold no lands, father no negative ratings. I shall wear no crowns and win no AST Top 20 Rankings. I shall live and die by my posts. I am the LOL in the darkness. I am the fire that burns against the trolls, the sneer that guards the realms of men from Kyle Cease's Comedy Boot Camp. I pledge my life and honor to the AST's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.

I was really surprised how gifted Dougpound is as a comic. He had some really funny material on top of the hilarious remixes. Did he ever work as a comedian at any time in his life?

I believe he hosts a weekly comedy show somewhere. Or at least he used to.
    Craig... That dick.

I'm having trouble believing the hilarity I saw live on stage last night at the "Time & Eric Awesome Tour" stop in my fair city of Richmond, VA. I nearly filled my D-Pants.

The giant bouncer up front stage right looked sooooooooooooo confused.

So glad we got to see this live.

I'm going to see them tonight - do they have a merchandise table?

Yes, but god knows what is left, unless they had some more merch shipped to them, the Dougg Pound CD is worth it's weight in copper

I wonder who would win in rap showdown between DJ Dougg Pound and Cracked Out...

Don't worry, David Liebe-Hart had plenty of CDs he sells for $10 apiece after the show.

Charlotte's show was great, but the crowd was small and embarassing. Some drunk guy kept yelling stuff out until Tim finally had to yell at him to "shut the fuck up". I love Tim and Eric but it felt like the crowd kinda sapped the life outta the show.

Tim told a lot of people to shut the fuck up when I saw them and it was surprisingly effective. He really knows how to shut down hecklers. I think it takes a lot of people by surprise when he yells at the crowd.

This kind of obnoxious audience behavior is a sad epidemic on this tour. Here's a good example of them dealing with it:

No comments on the season premiere yet?

I thought it was sort of disjointed. The '80s/'90s sitcom premise almost needed the full episode, Jim & Derrick treatment rather than being mixed in with other sketches. Zach's thing felt like it came out of nowhere. Maybe it was supposed to be a commercial? Then the ending was just plain odd.

    Re: Tim and Eric Thread

It wasn't the best episode by far and I agree that the sitcom really needed to be it's own episode, I think 11 minutes would be the perfect amount of time before it would get old

The Zach stuff I guess was the left over footage from the initial taping but it seemed really weak.

The Cinco commercials were good and shown on tour, I'd like to know Andrew, monkeygolucky.com , Koenig's thoughts on Alan Thicke being on the Awesome Show, whether he has them or not

I hope to see Aziz or Eugene this season and I hope not to see any one from the Apatow dumpling gang, no matter how much Paul Rudd begs...

Why isn't it online? Or is it? I don't know why the AS site is so confusing.
