the little thing in the intro to 'focus on comedy' where the image of MIB walks down the screen tapping his cane makes me laugh so hard. hopefully i'm articulating that clear enough to where it makes sense. such a small thing but oh so funny.

This is the only thread I though this might be appropriate in: Is this Douggpound?
(From an old ep of "Dog Bites Man")
That does look like him. Speaking of Dog Bites Man, where the hell is that DVD? That show is one of my all time favorites, and I need to see the "lost KKK" episode.
Groban Sings Casey.
Need I say anything else?
Ok, I'll also say c-bunds, Will Forte (along with JC Reilly, the most bankable guest), and everything about the Barber graduation party was great (especially liked Tim and Eric riffing in the barber shop about whether Eric was going to wear the African hat.) Scott Thompson made me crack up every time he was on screen, he barely had to do anything.
Was I the only one a little confused/disappointed by David Wain and Larry Miller? Kinda thought that segment was a bust...
But, again, Groban Sings Casey. Just brilliance. Man, do I love this show.

Night gathers, and now my snark begins. It shall not end until it gets hacky. I shall take my wife(... please!), hold no lands, father no negative ratings. I shall wear no crowns and win no AST Top 20 Rankings. I shall live and die by my posts. I am the LOL in the darkness. I am the fire that burns against the trolls, the sneer that guards the realms of men from Kyle Cease's Comedy Boot Camp. I pledge my life and honor to the AST's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.
I thought the relative non-use of them was great. It's like jazz, man. jassWas I the only one a little confused/disappointed by David Wain and Larry Miller? Kinda thought that segment was a bust...
Anyway, jixby died so here's the updated rankings in my eye

Gonna have to somewhat disagree with you Jixby and say:

Updated Rankings using my yucks stats and Repeat Viewing formula. Tommy gets a new lease on life thanks to watching The Room on Adult Swim last fools day. The Brothers Cinco was weird but I really support those one 11 minute skits.

I also found Brothers Cinco weird, but enjoyed it. Though, admittedly, I may have laughed once or twice. I just enjoyed learning about the men behind those Cinco products. And yet, I find the show a little too in its comfort zone this season, I think it could stand to expand its universe a bit. (Coincidentally, undisputed best ep of the season--UNIVERSE).

I almost put Brothers Cinco in front of Road Trip myself. It very well may be better!
I've actually said this before, but the Cinco Brothers episode really proves my own point to me: Tim and Eric should do an anthology series, where it would be one 11-minute story or idea each week. We got what, ten more episodes of Awesome Show left after this season is over, 6 episodes of the Steve Brule show after that... WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD FOR US, TIM & ERIC?

Do you think Leykis realized he was being blatantly mocked
haha, that was amazing! one of the best yet!
i don't know if Leykis realized the mockery, i often wonder the same thing about many of their guests
i remember there used to be a huge debate on the old board about whether or not it's fair that tim and eric are somewhat mocking many of the recurring actors on the show.
amazing episdoe, this season is really superb.
It's a different type of mocking...I used to be a little uncomfortable about folks like Liebe Hart and Quall, but I think it's clear that those guys are having a hell of a lot of fun.
I just wonder if Leykis got that his dialogue was mocking him for being a hateful misogynist douchebag. Although I recall hearing someone say that his whole on-air persona is just a character he does, so I guess he probably did.
Another celeb I felt was being mocked was Steve Schirripa...that just having him on the show at all, since so much of T&E involves pop-culture trash and terrible acting, was mocking him for being a bad actor/purveyor of tacky garbage/general dimwit. That might just be me projecting because I don't like the guy.
