Clearly they're not exactly serious, but leaving the goofy lyrics aside the music itself is simplistic and terrible. It's like a T&E song with more expensive synthesizers. And it's all over hipster blogs and shit for some reason.
edit: What I mean is, I see the appeal of this as novelty music...beyond that I dunno. Maybe I'm wrong in thinking people dig it as anything more.

Yeah, it's been Venture Brothers for me as well, every time I see it I'm like, "ooh, Tim and Eric" and it's never Tim and Eric. Stupid.
Dish Network shows it as Eric's Awesome Show. It looks like they're giving Eric all the credit and trying to cut Tim out of his own show.

It's just that stuff reminding me of Tim & Eric is one of my favorite things about Tim & Eric. Like the hook of "I Wanna Be a Hulkamaniac," or Tosh.0 using the same VO guy from the Jim & Derrick episode, or nearly every commercial on television.

We just did a bit with Will Forte where he's teaching kids how to build forts in their living room with pillows and cushions. His character kinda loses his temper and freaks out and regresses into old arguments he used to have with his father. We really didn't tell the kids what was gonna happen. And they were just genuinely shocked when Will started losing it.

Yeah, I saw the Pon De Floor video at the Eric Wareheim and Doug Lussenhop curated screening at the Silent Movie Theater in Hollywood. Loved it.
It's pretty out of this world. I predict it will cause a few seizures.
Very similar to the Flying Lotus video in concept (i.e. crazy people having dance-sex in green screen manufactured locations).
That was like... similes fail me.
