This was mentioned in the Movie Trailers thread in December, but I just thought I'd mention it again since they're going to be having screenings around the country and since some Tim and Eric fans might not know about it and want to see it.

This is apropos of absolutely nothing but I was just thinking about how because of how great and popular Awesome Show (that's the industry shortened version) has become, we often forget about how great Tom Goes to the Mayor was. I just wanted to post this because it makes me giggle like a little girl every time I even think about it.

Just got the east coast feed and I was a bit disappointed. But my expectations were VERY high so that's not saying much.
In the context of previous seasons it was ok. I just felt like each of the bits consisted of material and concepts that had already been done before in one way or another in previous episodes.
Having said that, the opening few minutes is GREAT.
The opening sequence, Quall & DLH cop show, and really all of the "Comedy Show" stuff with Tim and Eric were really great.
I agree, though, that the diarrhea well has probably run dry.

I loved that blonde haired audience dood that kept awkward laughing during the shitty comedy show segments.

I thought the Quall and Liebe Hart cop show thing was sort of the same general joke as the Bill Hader Quall bio-pic thing and the Jonah Hill/James Quall buddy comedy thing. I felt they could have come up with something for those two guys to do that was a little newer and fresher.Originally Posted by Umlaut
