Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien

Man, Super Dave was hilarious on Conan. Is he normally that funny? I gotta say I never payed much attention to his work, but I think he really killed in on todays episode. Save for his letterman cheap shot.

I'm not surprised he did so well for a couple reasons. a) He's absolutely amazing on Curb. He "gets" the show and really fits in well. and b) he was an early writing partner with Steve Martin on the Smothers Brothers show, and in his book Martin gives Super Dave a TON of props, saying that the two of them had very similar tastes and senses of humor and they would crack each other up all day. So dude has chops it would appear.

Thanks, Mr. Brasky. I'm glad you enjoyed that debacle. I tried like hell to rip that shirt completely off, but at least my inability to do that didn't end up ruining the bit. I actually love it when things go horribly wrong like that, as long as everyone rolls with it like they did last night. As Conan said, "When Wolf-Boy is improvising, you're screwed."
