We had the best time! Just walking and eating and smoking and people-watching! And we went to the Boom Chicago show which was so much fun... Rob (stars in/writes, etc.) was a gracious host and we got to hang out behind the scenes after-hours. Eric (My FOT friend who hooked us up) showed us a great time as well! It was nice to have friendly faces there!

Here are pics. Some of them need to be zoomed to fully appreciate some of the stuff (dates on buildings that go back to the 1500's, etc.) but overall I think you'll get the picture. I recommend going to Amsterdam for ANYONE. Even if you don't like weed. If you hate bikes, you might not want to go, but other than that....

Now Amsterdam appears as a setting in some of my dreams. Completely disfigured, as usual. But it makes me miss it so much when I wake up. Even though when I was there for 10 days I was totally ready to come back to the US at the end. I just kind of want to go for an occasional weekend trip. Or move everyone I know there and set up shop for a while.

when i was walking down the red light district a guy came upto me fofering all kinds of drugs and i didnt want to offend him so i said "no thanks i got no money on me" but he didnt believe me because he knew i was a on my holidays so in the quickest i have ever thought i just said "i just going back now to get some more maybe catch you later" and he cheerfully said ok see you later, i hearly had a stroke, lol

I'd like to think it isn't a misspelling but that "fofering" is actually the Dutch word for trying to give someone drugs.
