Has anyone purchased anything from deepdiscount.com? I bought a couple kith seasons and they never came, and they told me they got shipped out, then sent back and that they would reimburse me but have yet to do so. Is this place actually reputable at all?
I've bought a ton of stuff over several years - they're legit and have excellent customer service. Anytime (which is rare) that an order has been messed up they credit and exchange without the third degree.
They do send most items media mail unless you pay for priority shipping, so it's not unusual for an order to take 2 weeks or more to arrive. Credits might take a couple/few days after the merch gets back to them, but it does happen.
I'll say this about media mail lately. I ship out a lot of packages and I've had a painfully large amount go missing or returned to me recently. The post office is going through major budget and morale woes lately and it's showing pretty clearly.
It's Garry Shandling's Show: The Complete Series is halff off at Amazon for the price of $80:

I can't even express how brilliant this show is. Somehow time has just made it better.

I can verify this with my recent experiences too. I think something I bought on eBay three weeks ago was sent media mail because the seller updated the auction as being shipped the next day after it closed and I just got confirmation of it going through the sorting facility yesterday.
I bought the complete Larry Sanders show on Amazon because I didn't know the difference between that and this. I'm glad Amazon has finally given me a chance to rectify that mistake. I'm glad I can finally understand what the temporary Comedy and Everything Else theme song was parodying.

If you are a faggot like me Daria: The Complete Animated Series is on bestbuy.com for $27.50. That's an 8 disc set with 65 episodes and both made-for-TV movies. The store will try and stick you for 45 bucks but if you just tell them to check the website they should bring the price down.

Re: Media mail
My mailman leaves stuff in the common area of our building. Anyone could take it. If you're having trouble getting media mail, I would guess that it didn't fit through your mail slot or something and they leaned it up against your door on your front porch.
There's no way around this, except if you get a PO Box. Those are very reliable, but you have to go somewhere and pick up your mail certain times of the day.
Actually the beauty of a PO Box (I've had one for over 20 years) is that you can pick up your mail whenever you want to - most POs lock the counter area but leave the PO area open 24/7.
A POB certainly increases the security of me getting the things I order - and I order a ton - but Media Mail can be painfully slow, and that has nothing to do with whether the destination is a street address or a PO Box. Many Amazon sellers advertise that they upgrade to First Class Mail, so it's worth a little more money to avoid the people trying to scrimp pennies on postage.
As for the orders through Amazon - like many in this thread - they are sent with barcode tracking and usually arrive fairly quickly. I'd say my "never gets here" percentage is 1-2% tops, and 80% of those turn out to be people who didn't send it because they were out of stock.
Since any music thread has seemed to drop off the face of the forum, I figured I'd put this here:
