Why Japanese Box Art Is Better

I don't agree with it's being better in every case, but it is fascinating to see the sometimes subtle differences.

Being a strictly console player, I just hopped on the WoW wagon.

I've also just purchased several ironic trucker hats.

I think it most cases it's better - it seems like in America they treat video game box art like food packaging and in Japan they treat it like CD packaging.

    Hey,

What video games blogs do you guys read? I'm possibly starting to write for one, and I wanted to see what else was out there.

Joystiq and its minions (Xbox 360 Fanboy, Wii Fanboy) cover pretty much everything I'm interested in.

Kotaku for me. Joystiq seems to play catchup when it comes to Kotaku.

I think the guys that made "Bart The General" just made a video game!

Just a quick question. It's almost been 10 years since this game came out, but I never really got to play it except when I went to my cousin's house and it was so much fun so here it is:

If I find it, should I buy and play "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" for N64?

If you really liked Twilight Princess, you'll probably really like Ocarina of Time.

Re: This is the new games thread

I'm pretty sure you can download Ocarina on the Wii.

Ocarina has aged really well. Play it.

    They actually did.

Osquip, Dan Telfer, and Meen Bellpeppers: Thank you. That definitely helped convince me to get and play it.

What are people's thoughts on the MGS series? I just finished MGS4 (and by finished I mean I read the plot synopsis and watched the ending videos online), but what are people's thoughts on the series? How does the story feel for you? Gameplay? Etc.?

Agreed. I've played through it twice now as well as collecting all 8 of the stars in the constellation and rerunning the time trials every time someone on my friends list beats me on one of them, and all I can say is if you have any interest in platformers and own a 360 spend the 1200 space bucks and play Braid immediately.

I did so poorly on the first part of the PS2 game that I gave up and never touched any of them since. I am always interested in the series, though. Then I never look into it. I can't really saw why.

Has anyone else played Resistance? I just got sent a PS3 email about those Project Abraham movies with Starbuck Lady that are supposed to be about an experiment that gives you some back story on game one or info about the sequel, or both.

Does anyone want to start a Rock Band band or play GTAIV with me? You'll find me under the name "Crackerbag" on XBox Live. Go figure.
