Basically, Rock Band just won the fight against Guitar Hero.

It is about time it came out too. That had been rumored to be in production for a while. Presumably some legal snags getting rights to to songs, I would guess.

So the new Castelvania game, Lord of Shadows, wasn't a Castlevania game last year.

3 part harmonies on the Beatles game kills it for me. I can't wait for it. I'll finally be able to get my mom playing - she's a huge Beatles fan and she frickin' always sings the harmony instead of the melody when she sings.

I can't imagine inviting my mom into my video game world. It's bad enough that she thinks she knows about baseball now that she jumped on the Phillies bandwagon.

The beatles game looks cool, but I'm not a fan enough of Aerosmith, Metallica, Van Halen, the Beatles, or probably any band to want to play only their songs with no variety.

Well, hopefully, like with the AC/DC game, you'll be able to import the songs over to your hard drive so they can seamlessly integrate with your normal playlists. You'll probably, at the least, be able to play your downloadable songs within the Beatles game, but we'll see.
