I bought the new Monkey Island last night. I wish I was home playing it right now.

Yes, the Trial. It's broke. Eff it.
Let's talk about Monkey Island, a game that matters.
Ask me about LOOM™
Microphones aren't good for online play unless you know who you're playing with... and then they make it a thousand times better. Especially in battlefield... it really helps to work together.
Xbox live general populace though? Unless you want to be called a faggot a thousand times, have people sing pop songs in your ear, hear 10 year olds use the n word non-stop..... it's just not worth it.
You mean the latest masterpiece of fantasy storytelling from Lucasfilm's Brian Moriarty? Why it's an extraordinary adventure with an interface of magic... stunning, high-resolution, 3D landscapes... sophisticated score and musical effects. Not to mention the detailed animation and special effects, elegant point 'n' click control of characters, objects, and magic spells. Beat the rush! Go out and buy Loom today!
I'm watching this Battlefield kill counter like it's my job... currently at 42599296.... I need it to roll over before I get home from work... NEED IT. My life is dumb.
**edit*** they did it!

Yes! They're releasing old LucasArts games on Steam! Last Crusade, Fate of Atlantis, and Loom, and The Dig for just $5. Anyone know if they're gonna add old Monkey Islands?
I've never played Loom but I'm planning on getting it in the next couple days. It looks awesome.
I'm hesitant to buy the new Monkey Island for $35. How long is it? I'm wondering if there's going to be a price drop when new episodes are released. Right now I'm having fun playing the old games so I don't need it right away.
35 dollars is for all the games combined. Wow, those Golden Girls jokes about Minnesotans weren't far off.
I've been playing Fallout 3's DLC and I cannot believe how happy I am to have the level cap raised to 30. I also cannot believe how quickly my death dealing gunslinger of a character returned to being a Power Armored "Janitor of the Wastelands" scrounging througn piles of tin cans to make junk toys.
Bent can...bent...bent...AHA!

I like the new Monkey Island game so far, but then again I like the Telltale Sam & Max and Wallace and Gromit games too. I'm probably one of the few people in the world who like games with lots of dialogue where you just walk around and talk to people and they say funny things. In this era of Battlefield Kill or whatever, I prefer my games slow and relaxing.
OK... so I had to force myself to stop playing that Air Superiority map..... it's 24 planes... no flags.. and you try to have the most planes in this large circle to cap the flag... tons of rock formations to fly under... huge area... it's just insanely fun if you like flying planes in games at all.
Ha, thanks. I'm gonna pick it up soon then.Originally Posted by Berliner

I actually thought that was real until I clicked the link. Wow!
What do you mean real?
Its an interesting idea, but it is nauseating to play.
