For whatever reason, this Gamestop is console-only. The guy told me that if I wanted Spore, I should have pre-ordered it. It would have been delivered to the store for me to pick up, but they will not sell it otherwise.

This is the same store that sells Twilight Princess for $49.99 new and $44.99 used. They can go fuck themselves.

You can download Spore from a few different online game providers, including EA themselves. I would recommend against this option, because you won't be able to sell that bloated corpse of a game back to some unwitting sucker.

    Seriously, Spore sucks.

I'm glad I lost all hope for the game after it's third delay.

I always say, "Oh, okay, well then I guess I'll just go to Best Buy where they have 2500 copies."

A lot of people seem to be mad that they are returning to WWII but I think putting it in the Pacific theater brings a lot of opportunities for fresh gameplay.

I do wish someone would make a really good Vietnam game for the current-gen consoles.
Not looking very forward to World at War. I would instead would prefer the recordings of Keifer Sutherland's voice work on the game on a CD that I can fall asleep to.

Although, I am however stoked for the newest Brothers in Arms game.

I second the Vietnam war game, I adored Battlefield: Vietnam for the PC. Di Di Mao, indeed.

Force Unleashed is a pretty fun game. I rented it, and I'd say it's at least worth that. Throwing a Chewbacca into a tree is pretty fun. See also, force choking a wookie.

I didn't know it was out yet, I thought it just a demo on XBL...gotta see if the Blockbuster has it then.

I ended up playing for about 3 hours straight without noticing how much time had passed.

It's definitely worth a rent, the story is decent and the action is really fun. Actually, it's worth a rent for the first level. Darth Vader is good at beating up a wookie army.

I recently rented a copy of Civilization: Revolution, and although at first I thought it was too simplified and devoid of any challenge, I could not stop playing it.

I probably played for about 24 hours over the course of three days and finally took it back because I was starting to accumulate a mountain of soda cans and candy wrappers next to my TV.

I usually play those games for about a week straight and then just get rid of them like you did. They are so addicting... It's in my GameFly queue.

Anyone else picking up Wario Land: Shake It on Monday? I'm a big sucker for 2D platformers, and this seems pretty close to perfect. The animations look awesome.
