Thread: New members: introduce yourselves here

Re: New members: introduce yourselves here

    Hello!

I'm more of a comedy appreciator who came to the site after a friend turned me on to Never Not Funny. I am originally from Chicago but have lived in San Francisco for a couple of years. I'm trying to support local comedy as much as I can, and this site has taught me a lot. I'll mostly lurk, but Springtime is making me frisky.

I'm mostly posting this to say "Thanks, you lovable assholes!"

Hi, I come from a place where everyone has huge cocks. Actually, I've never seen any of them, but everyone says they have one. And I certainly have one and talk about if pretty often, so I have to assume everyone else has one too, otherwise, I've either got a small cock or I'm a hypocrite.

I on the other hand have a fairly impressive tiny penis. Sure, I have been able to impregnate my wife three times, but I never got a blood test to check the validity of her claims. Either way, I am Spartan. Greetings.

Hey, I am Ayoub Aouragh and I am from The Netherlands. I live in a city called Nijmegen, which is at the border of Germany, like only 5km away from it is Germany. I love playing video games, I do a lot of soccer, 5 times per week and I enjoy posting on forums!

Re: New members: introduce yourselves here

I just found this place trying to learn more about Cracked Out while listening to them on a comedy death ray podcast.

place seems awesome, exactly something I was looking for while not actually seeking out.

at one time I thought of doing a site called comedyfeed.net that would ideally have been similar to this, but what stood in my way was not knowing how to do any of it or being interested in the work involved.

so, very glad to find this place and that it has a forum. nice to meet you :P

My name is Meredith and I'm 24 so far. I live in Columbia, SC where we have one comedy club in an old Food Lion where it seems like Bruce Bruce plays every other week and all the women that manage it look like Tammy Faye Baker. I listen to podcasts all day in my cubicle and one day I'll be an art teacher.

Re: New members: introduce yourselves here

I think I was Googling "Louis C.K. blog" and the front page came up because of that long list of banner links to comedian blogs on the right side.

Then I saw funny people saying smart and funny things about comedy, so I hung around, mostly as a reader. I owe my current podcast intake to this site, so thanks for directing me to an enormous amount of high-quality, free comedy.

    Hey everyone,
I'm a big comedy fan. I've been an AST member for a while, but I hain't never posted very much. I've been thinking about finding an open mic somewhere to start doing some stand-up, but I can't imagine ever getting any laughs here in Birmingham, AL. You guys are my best friends.

My name is Kevin and because of all the great podcasts coming out -- Maron, Doug Loves Movies, Best Show (I try to listen live when I can...) -- I came on to check out this forum I keep hearing about. I run a record label and music blog, www.lemon-session.com, where I post live recordings I do for free download.

    Live it!

Hey, i'm Barry. I've been lurking about in here for a long while, trying to keep current on my favorite comedians. There seem to be a number of relatively smart people with interesting opinions in here, so i decided to join and try to contribute whatever i could to this quirky community. I'm looking forward to the snarky insults i'll surly receive for voicing my opinions.

I've been in the market for cheap kitchen cabinets, but was starting to worry that I would have to join another online community to find them.

    Lucky day.
