The premise of Joke Lab is that every week 6 comedians are given a topic to create brand new material on or inspired by the topic for the week. The material can take any format as long as it is related to the topic in a way that will be apparent to the audience- can be sketch, a character or concept piece, storytelling, or stand-up. At the end of the show we take an audience suggestion for the next week's topic and send it out to the comics booked on that show. So every week it's a brand new show with new comics and new, never seen before material.
