So a couple things that might interest people... This will be one of the last FEW Acid Reflux Hours. Yes they are numbered, if anyone cares boohoo sob sob. But more on that later or some other time...something else is more pressing.
So at Cinefile Video, where I work, a couple weeks ago this old guy comes in and he's cussing and saying the f word a bunch, not really at anyone, more in reference to people. He points to an Ingmar Bergman t shirt on a rack and goes "Ingmar Bergman, that's my man... But FUCK HIM!" and he's talking about back when and stuff, so I keep sort of baiting him for more information to see what crazy thing he'll say, I do that sometimes. and he's being kinda funny, he let's out that he's been involved in comedy in the past. I keep talking to him, he's asking where he might do some open mics just to bomb and try em out. "I was on Johnny Carson once...HE DIDN'T FUCKIN' LIKE ME!!" Turns out he's got stories about all kindsa old timies. Carson, Andy Kaufman, Gary Marshall, Mel Brooks, Ann Margaret, Mitzi Shore, blabbity bla bla bla... so I booked him!! He talked about how he was in "Life Stinks" for Mel Brooks so after he left I threw on his part and there he was...funny guy. I didn't get his email or anything, he said his computer was mixed up, but I told him to come on the 5th so I hope hope hope he shows up. Please come and check it out.
