I'll be up in your fair city this Thursday. Anything of note I should attend/attempt to perform at?
Thanks.

Hey Kyle,
Didn't see anyone else jumping in here to answer this...so, let me do some research here and try to help you out!
According to the CLOG! (www.seattlecomedyblog.com) there are no alt-comedy shows... There's an open mic at 88 Keys in Pioneer Square (never been there, can't say whether or not it's worth it...) and there's a show at Owl & Thistle that isn't an open mic...nor is it a highly promoted event either.
The legendary Comedy Underground (www.comedyunderground.com) has the first night of Cathy Sorbo's "Songs of Filth" revue.
The infamous Giggles Comedy Club has an open mic on Thursdays...but in order to get any stage time there, you'd have to be a regular.
Across the bridge, on the Eastside of town, there's Laughs Comedy Spot in Kirkland... They were supposed to be featuring Jimmy Pardo Thursday through Saturday this weekend...but that's not happening. (Juston McKinney is now doing Friday & Saturday...and Thursday night, they're having a pre-show wine tasting and probably a stream of local comics with no particular headliner in mind.)
The other club on the Eastside, Parlor Live in Bellevue, has Billy Gardell this Thursday through Saturday.
That's about it as far as I can tell.
pg--I'd invite you to hang out with me...I'm doing a tour of a hospital's birthing rooms on Thursday. I'm going to guess, though, that you'll end up doing something else.--seattle
(Too bad you won't be here on WEDNESDAY...as this Wednesday, September 16th, JAMES ADOMIAN will be headlining PRoK's "Laff*Hole" show at Chop Suey.)
thanks pg. just got my travel settled and it looks like i won't be in until friday and then out saturday, so won't need to worry about thursday after all. but if anyone's around friday after the patton show, i'm sure i'll just be having drinks by the venue. i'm generally approachable.
Everyone, stay away from Kyle! He will act nice, get you to buy him a beer, then stab you with a gaffing hook.
