Are high quality astute alien(UFO) jokes difficult to write for anyone else?

Hey guys I do a lot of reading about our cosmic cousins and I try to incorporate this into my act but so far it just SEEMS that I can't get any laughs with my alien jokes. As a self observer and overthinker I think its come down to a couple things and i'm hoping the reason is not because its lackin the funny

    1) I can't do an impersonation or act out of an alien not because I lack the talent but because no one knows how they talk, nor will an audience buy the joke because our perceptions of aliens is not a shared thought. Meaning what I think of as an alien is going to differ from another person unlike jokes about men/women which are shared thoughts that everyone can relate to

    2) When ever you make the comparison of aliens to anything its fucking ridiculous. Its an absurd joke but like its almost as if it can't be an absurd joke because the absurdity is to unbelievable

infact the only alien jokes I've ever seen work where all pop culture related ones. I remember hearing one about ET and another I can't remember.

anyway to wrap and roll it up to my point- does anyone else have difficulty writing alien jokes?

How many glems must synthetically incorporate phosphorous into their [] (the human mind cannot reproduce the concept of what [] is) in order to change a 4b-76.15g?

The answer is unknowable, as the question is in direct violation of the manifested glem.

    Easy, dude.

*unless we're talking silicon-based _-_---_'s who should have their interlocking crystalline matrices shattered, thus preventing reconnection with their ur-rock. They totally fucking deserve it.

(Suavepebble, that was hilarious and coupled with your avatar kinda creepy.)

Wasn't there an Alien comic on Last Comic Standing? That was long after I stopped watching. Did that guy do actual alien themed humor? Does that dude actually work or was it a gimmick for the show. I refuse to waste a google finding out.

He is an actual working comic. I saw a Youtube clip of him before he was on Last Comic Standing. Don't know how much of his humor is actually alien themed, as the clip was him handling a heckler.

I did a joke about aliens in my last set and it went over quite well, actually. I wasn't basing it so much on a human knowledge or belief in aliens, but instead tried to use an alien as something that wouldn't understand a phenomenon we experience on Earth (actually, in this case, it was getting stung by bees).

I am an alien in real life, so if you have any questions about alien culture you may ask me here!

Maybe if you could show us a video / audio of your joke bombing we could give some opinions on what's going on.
