Patton's CC Special/DVD coming August 23rd/25th; BIG FAN trailer online now

Remember when Patton shot that stand-up special in Washington, DC a few months ago? Well, director Jason Woliner has given us exclusive access to a link that leads to a private VIP-only website called "Netflix" that reveals the title of that special: "Patton Oswalt: My Weakness Is Strong." Jason tells us that the special will premiere on Comedy Central on August 23rd, then be released on DVD two days later.

Meanwhile, fans who are looking to dip into the darker side of Oswalt can feast their eyes on the trailer for the already critically-acclaimed BIG FAN, which popped up on Yahoo today. The film, which premiered at Sundance last January, opens on August 28th. Mark your calendars: the last week of August is now Patton Oswalt Week!
