Despite the irritating forced "K", I braved the password-protected R Bar to see April Richardson's booked show debut!
Produced by Michael Busch, this SNL-inspired midnight sketch show had a lot of hits, and a few misses.
Hit: Brandon Johnson. In everything.
Miss: $5 admission price. While the theater was full, it wasn't packed, which it could have been with its lineup/ensemble. (This may have been due in part to the Tomorrow Show's 3 year-anniversary, which drew significantly from the comedy-goer pool.)
Hit: Costumes in Sugar Chan sketch. Holy fuck.
Miss: Extended band setup
Despite the temporary location, this show was awesome. Loved the decor. Live fish in the walls! Incredible!
